CANDLE CARE
Candle Care
To get the best burn from your Alumi candle, trim the wooden wick to about 1/8 inch before each use. A shorter wick helps create a clean, even flame and prevents excess smoke.
On the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the jar. This helps prevent tunneling and gives your candle a longer, more even life.
Burn for 2–4 hours at a time and never leave your candle unattended. Keep away from drafts, pets, children, and anything flammable.
Once about 1/2 inch of wax remains, it’s time to stop burning and repurpose or recycle your jar.
A few care notes:
For wooden wicks, always remove the charred bits before relighting. If the flame looks too high, smoky, or uneven, blow it out, let the wax cool, trim the wick, and relight. Your candle will thank you.
